Helden started life in the 1970’s as part of the worldwide Dresser Corporation but in the early 1990’s, the Dresser couplings facility in the Netherlands was purchased by Victaulic Plc and the company name was changed to Helden Couplings.
In 1995, Victaulic Plc was acquired by Glynwed Pipe systems and the Dutch operation became Glynwed Pipe Couplings BV. During 2003, the business was sold to Crane Ltd. and Helden became part of Crane Building Services & Utilities portfolio of brands.
